Walking across the fell to Allendale for a cream tea or further across to stunning historic Blanchland are two of my favourites.

Visit Roman Town of Corbridge with its gorgeous shops, Award winning Grants Bakery, Historic pubs and riverside walks.

Visit Hexham for the absolutely stunning Abbey and historic Gaol.

Hadrians Wall- The Sill and Vindolanda particularly interesting.
